Alberta’s mule deer have some of the largest body weights found anywhere, averaging nearly 250 pounds and often approaching 300 and, they have antlers to match.
Most noted for their incredible mass and dark coloration, a large percentage of the antlers also sport non-typical points. Several bucks scoring in excess of 240 Boone and Crockett points have been taken in the past few years.
- 25% deposit is required to book a hunt.
- 25% further 60 days after initial deposit.
- If paying final payment by check, must be paid in full by October 1 of the year of the hunt. Only other payment after October 1 is cash.
- All deposits are non refundable.
- The total cost of all hunts are fixed.
- There are no refunds if hunter tags out early or leaves for any reason.

Rates Include
- One (1) Mule Deer Tag
- Services of a qualified guide or guides
- Meals, and lodging during contract days
- Transportation in the field.
- Transportation from Edmonton to hunt site and return.
- Field dressing, skinning and caping of your trophy.
Rates DO NOT Include
- Airfare
- Crating of trophies.
- Shipping of trophies or meat.
- Achoholic beverages
- Hotel rooms before or after the hunt.
- Taxidermy.
- Government Fees.
- Gratuities for the Guides.

Mule Deer Hunts
We house all of our hunters at our farm outside of Viking Alberta. You will enjoy a comfotable stay along with Kates great home cooked meals.

We hunt within the parkland region of the province which is a transition between the mixed-wood forests to the north and west and the drier prairies to the south and east. Our specific zones are:
Where We Hunt
Our trophy Mule Deer Hunts take place throughout the month of November during the rut. The hunts are set for when game movement is at its peak, ensuring the best opportunity for success.

The mule deer’s propensity for open areas lends them perfectly to spot-and-stalk hunting and in the parkland zone, this is the preferred method. We hunt the mule deer in the same areas as our whitetail. A hunter has a realistic chance of tagging both species.
